Yvonne Gee,
Washougal representative to the Clark County Arts Commission, is a retired geriatric Physical Therapist and hospice PT, now turned entrepreneur and non profit CEO. Yvonne is a transplanted New Yorker and has been involved in the arts since a child through performing arts, photography, public art shows, music performances, dance, musical theatre and worked at Cal Performances and the Greek Theater during her student days at UC Berkeley. She’s a big proponent of living your bucket list now and does in-home consults to safely age in place. Another a focus and passion for Yvonne is being proactive for natural wellness. Together with her partner, David Van Zandt Eddy ~ a sculptor/oil painter, they oversee Embrace Qi and Rising Phoenix farm where they host community building events that range from sound baths to bushcrafting classes, from seed swaps to flamenco shows, from artist open studios and art classes to wellness events, from writing workshops to fermenting classes, and much more. They have 4 kids between them and keep their 2 rescue cats busy mousing on the farm.
