Ken Spurlock – Representing Ridgefield

The beauty of the Pacific Northwest , the people and culture drew me to the area in 1987. Since then, the Columbia Gorge has been my inspiration for art and photography for many years. It is an honor to be appointed by the Mayor and City Council of Ridgefield Washington. This is an exciting opportunity and privilege to give back to the SW Washington arts community as a member of the Clark County Arts Commission. I bring my artistic skills and abilities as an artist, entrepreneur, educator and supporter of the arts. I have over thirty years’ experience working and volunteering with non-profit organizations, service organizations, educational programs and marketing business services. I am a member of the Ridgefield Arts Association and the local Chamber of Commerce. My art was featured at the Angst gallery. I have had my own arts shows and collaborated with other artists to create art events. I believe art is the medium that can bring us all together. Together we can use art to overcome barriers, celebrate diversity and create attractive thriving cities in Clark County. Together let’s support the arts.
