Steve Oglesby – Representing Camas

Steve Oglesby currently serves a four‑year term appointed by the Camas City Council as the Commissioner representing the City of Camas. With a distinguished career spanning 36 years in the visual arts and printing industry, Steve brings a wealth of creative expertise and community insight to the Commission.

Throughout his extensive professional journey, Steve has excelled in graphic design, print production, and visual communication. His deep understanding of both the artistic and technical aspects of design has enabled him to collaborate effectively with clients, artists and local organizations—bridging the gap between creative vision and tangible results.

In his role on the Arts Commission, Steve champions arts accessibility and community engagement. As chair of the Arts Commission, he actively supports public art initiatives, collaborates with others to promote local artists and arts education across Clark County. His mission aligns with the Commission’s goals of fostering cultural vibrancy, celebrating diversity, and integrating the arts into public spaces and everyday life.

Education, community service, and civic leadership are at the core of Steve’s philosophy. As a Camas resident, he is dedicated to enhancing cultural life in the region—ensuring arts are accessible to all residents, supporting emerging artists, and advocating for creative programs that enrich community experiences.

Steve currently serves as a printing consultant for International Graphics & Nameplate in Vancouver Washington.  He is married with 4 children, 2 cats and a dog.  He serves as a Deacon at Northwest Gospel Church.
